This provision is good • The manager is passionate and shares her enthusiasm with her staff team.

She has a clear vision for the future success of the nursery. The manager states that she has high aspirations for staff and children and aims to deliver high-quality childcare. • Staff provide parents with good support for children's home learning.

For instance, they send text messages to parents every Saturday with ideas to continue children's learning at home. Parents comment that they feel very well supported and give high praise for the care their children receive. • The manager and staff are working towards a health accreditation.

They provide support and guid...ance for children and their families to help them to lead healthy lifestyles. For example, staff share information with parents, such as nutritious recipes and ideas for healthy packed lunches. They talk to children about the importance of ensuring that they follow good dental hygiene routines at home.

• Children thoroughly enjoy the time they spend in the nursery. They behave well, use good manners and show high levels of confidence in their abilities. • The manager and staff support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities well.

They develop intervention plans and work well with other agencies to ensure that all children make good progress. • At times, some staff do not utilise all opportunities to support children's emerging interests in the outdoor area, particularly for those children who prefer to learn outside. • Staff working with younger children do not use very skilful questioning methods that help to support children to develop their good thinking and speaking skills further.
