This provision is good • The provider communicates high expectations to staff, parents and children. Staff, including those who are new, report that they receive good levels of support from the management team that benefit children well.

• The provider monitors the progress groups of children make and uses the information effectively to identify those who may require additional support. Overall, children make good progress in relation to their starting points. This includes children with special educational needs and/or disabilities and children who speak English as an additional language.

• Staff interact positively with the children and model the use of vocabulary to d...evelop their language skills successfully, such as through songs and stories. • Staff work closely with parents and keep them informed about their children's learning and care needs to establish a consistent approach. Parents interviewed during the inspection spoke highly of the nursery and praised staff's continued dedication.

• Children settle quickly and engage in stimulating activities that motivate them to play and learn. • Although the provider offers staff training opportunities, this is not consistently focused to ensure individual staff members can raise their practice to the highest levels. • At times, staff miss opportunities to support children, who are quiet and less confident, for example during group times.
