Summary of key findings for parents

This provision is good The manager has high expectations of staff and reflects on the setting's practice effectively. She acts on the advice of others, such as other early years professionals, to help improve practice and children's outcomes. For instance, she has successfully raised the quality of practice to good levels following actions set at the last inspection.

Children are happy and confident. Staff are caring and friendly, and form warm bonds with children. They are sensitive to children's needs and support their emotional well-being effectively.

Partnerships with parents are a particular strength. For instance, staff communicate with parents regularly about chil...dren's ongoing development and help them to support children's development at home. Staff support children's communication skills very well, such as while using new words for children in context to help extend their language development.

Children make good progress and develop the skills needed for their future learning. It is not yet outstanding because: Staff do not plan some areas of the environment effectively to help encourage children's motivation to try a broad range of activities, to enhance their development further. At times, staff do not encourage children to use their home languages in their play and learning to aid their development.
