Summary of key findings for parents

This provision meets requirements • The provider and management team have addressed the action and recommendations raised by Ofsted at the last inspection.

They have effective procedures to obtain the views of staff, parents and children to help to evaluate the nursery and accurately identify priorities for further improvement. • The management team understands their responsibility to meet the safeguarding and welfare requirements. They maintain suitable premises and have appropriate ways to assess the risks to children indoors, outdoors and on outings.

They demonstrate a good understanding of the signs and symptoms of abuse and wider safeguarding issues and how to repor...t concerns regarding children's welfare. • The management team demonstrates a secure knowledge of how to meet the learning and development needs of children. They know how to observe and assess children's progress, plan for their development and prepare them for school.

• There are good systems in place ready to exchange information with parents and other settings that children attend. There are suitable ways to collect a range of information, including who has parental responsibility, before each child starts at the nursery. This information is to help staff meet children's care needs, promote their emotional wellbeing and ensure continuity of learning and development.

• Strong recruitment, vetting and induction of staff helps to determine their suitability. Systems to supervise and monitor staff's practice have been recently enhanced. There were no children present when this inspection took place.

The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. Where there are no children present, no judgement is made on the quality of the early years provision as there is no reliable evidence on which to assess its impact on children. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration.
