This provision is outstanding • The provider, manager and staff share the ambitious goal of providing an exceptional service for all children. They have clearly defined roles and strive to continually improve this outstanding club. • Children thrive at the club.

The manager and staff provide an exceptionally broad and challenging programme of play experiences that inspire children of all ages. • Staff have high aspirations for children and have continually high expectations of what each individual can achieve. Support for children with special educational needs is superb.

• Turn-taking, sharing and being mindful of one another are key characteristics of children and staf...f at the club. Staff are excellent role models who children respect and admire. • Children have a superb range of experiences to broaden their knowledge of the world and inspire them.

For example, children enjoy animal workshops and learning about women in science. • Children are taught about equality and diversity through play activities such as role play. For example, staff welcome children's eagerness to dress up in costumes which challenge stereotypes.

• The headteacher and Reception teacher describe the club as a seamless extension to the school day. They value the close partnership the manager has with school, which enhances the continuity in children's welfare, learning and enjoyment. • Staff are meticulous in communicating with parents.

Parents comment that they always receive key messages from school in a timely manner. They are highly impressed with how well the manager and staff know the children. They comment that the manager offers valuable advice and guidance, particularly where children have specific needs.
