This provision is good The environment is organised well. Staff plan a range of activities that areenjoyable, reflect children's interests and complement their learning at school.

They effectively encourage children to join in and interact with each other. Staff are positive role models and encourage children to be respectful and well mannered. Children behave well and are kind to each other.

For example, older children are accepting of the younger children's needs and ensure they share resources. Managers have high expectations and support staff successfully. For example, they have discussions before children arrive to help ensure that staff are well prepared for the se...ssion.

They guide the practice of staff well and support their interactions with children effectively. Overall, managers evaluate the provision well to help ensure children are consistently safe and enjoy their time at the club. Children explain that they 'have fun' because staff are kind, and they have many opportunities to play outside and to be with their friends.

It is not yet outstanding because: Partnerships with parents are not consistently strong. Staff do not fully ensure that parents are kept fully informed and up to date with information about the club. Occasionally, staff miss opportunities to extend younger children's play and enjoyment further.
