They are well prepared for the next stages of their learning and development, including the move on to school. • Staff provide a variety of activities and resources to help children develop their personal development and think about what they do. For example, children understand that they need to wash their hands before eating to r...educe the spread of infection.

• Staff work well with parents and keep them informed about their children's learning and development. • Parents are pleased with the good progress their children make and appreciate the support they receive from this helpful and approachable staff team. They know how to support their children's learning at home and beyond.

• Managers continually support staff and monitor their work to help ensure that they meet children's care and needs effectively. • Occasionally, some staff do not provide enough challenges to fully extend children's language and to further deepen their learning. • At times, staff do not organise movements between activities well enough to help children fully remain focused on the learning.
