The provider understands the importance of reflecting on the service that she offers to ensure continuous improvement. The provider and staff recognise the importance of promoting children's personal, social and emotional development so that they learn to behave well and to respect others.

The findings in this report are based on evidence gathered from discussions with those who care for the children and an inspection of the premises, equipment and relevant documentation. The report states whether the provider continues to meet the requirements of registration. Inspection activities The inspector viewed all areas of the premises used by the club indoors and outdoors. The inspector assessed the staff and provider's knowledge of child development, education and care through discussions with them.

The inspector reviewed some of the club's activities and resources for children to assess their suitability. The inspector checked the provider's knowledge of the documentation she must keep when caring for children. The inspector discussed with the provider the methods she will use for assessing children's progress and her self-evaluation systems.
