This is a good school The governing body provides leaders with effective support to improve the quality of education provided by the school.

The headteacher leads with passion and commitment. The school is a caring community, based on Christian values, where the needs of the pupils are at the heart of everything the school does. The broad and balanced curriculum provides plenty of opportunities for pupils to enjoy learning about life beyond school.

Pupils are excited about these opportunities and find learning interesting and exciting. Good teaching and a lively curriculum in the early years provide children with a secure and happy start to school life. Resour...ces in the outdoor area do not support learning as effectively as those indoors.

Parents and staff are very positive about the school. They particularly value the strong impact that the headteacher and other senior leaders have had on the development of the school. Pupils behave well and are well mannered, polite and courteous.

The school is a calm, orderly and purposeful place to learn. Pupils enjoy coming to school and this is reflected in their good attendance. Pupils show great respect to adults and to one another.

Pupils' safety has high priority. Clear systems are in place to keep pupils as safe as possible in school. Pupils are confident that adults will listen to their concerns and act on them quickly.

The school's work to promote pupils' spiritual, moral, social and cultural development is very good. Pupils thrive in this nurturing environment. Provision for the most able pupils, while good overall, does not consistently provide enough challenge to enable these pupils to reach their full potential.
