Ysgol Tryfan is a bilingual school for pupils between 11 and 18 years old, which is maintained by Gwynedd local authority. The school is situated in the city of Bangor and serves the urban catchment area. There are 426 pupils on roll, including 80 pupils in the sixth form, which is lower than at the time of the last inspection in October 2013.
