Summary of key findings for parents

This provision is good • Children enjoy their time at this well-organised and well-resourced nursery.

Hence, they remain fully immersed in learning and play with exciting resources. • Parent partnerships are strong. Parents are happy with the good-quality childcare that their children receive.

They say their children settle quickly, due to the caring and welcoming staff team. • Staff are supported well by the management team. Managers ensure staff receive regular training and opportunities for professional development.

• Children develop good physical skills. Older children skilfully pedal tricycles, and younger children confidently squeeze fruit halves and roll... out play dough. • Staff are attentive to the children.

They are warm, caring and have good relationships with them. Hence, all children settle quickly after arriving at the nursery. • Managers have identified that staff require support with the use of the new system for tracking and assessment.

They are reviewing this to ensure all individual children's assessments reflect all areas of their learning. • Overall, children behave well at the setting. However, occasionally when children do not move around in a safe manner, staff do not routinely explain why some behaviours are undesirable.
