This provision is good • Leaders provide staff with good-quality support to help them further develop their strong teaching skills.

Recent training has helped staff to identify further strategies to help children learn to manage their feelings and behaviour. Some pre-school staff are due to begin extensive training in supporting children's early literacy skills. • Staff know children's individual needs well and plan successfully for their learning.

They provide children with a wide range of exciting learning experiences that motivate them to play, explore and make new discoveries. Pre-school children show curiosity as they use magnifying glasses to closely observe their ...fingerprints. • Children make good progress in their learning and they acquire a range of useful skills that prepare them well for starting school.

They gain good levels of independence and self-confidence and concentrate well on activities that they enjoy. • Staff prioritise children's emotional security. Children enjoy cuddles and quickly form close bonds with the friendly staff.
