This provision is good • The manager and staff provide a warm and welcoming environment.

They access training to improve their knowledge of how to support children in their care. • Children have lots of fun at the club. They are enthusiastic and animated as they arrive and talk about their day at school.

They explore their play surroundings eagerly, enjoying the good range of activities on offer. • Staff exchange messages between school and parents and they make sure parents are kept up to date. Parents describe the club as fantastic and say, 'Staff are really friendly, accommodating and very supportive'.

• Staff have high expectations and children respond very ...well to the clear routines and boundaries set. Staff are excellent role models. • Staff work both in the club and in the host school.

This provides excellent stability for children and parents. Consequently, trusting and supportive relationships are very well established. • Opportunities for parents to contribute to the self-evaluation of the club are not fully explored.
