The provision is outstanding • The management team and practitioners are well qualified, experienced and inspirational. They place an exceptionally strong focus on promoting children's personal, social and emotional development. Children thrive and their emotional wellbeing is supported highly successfully.

• Teaching is excellent and responsive to children's needs. Practitioners use their expert knowledge of how children learn to provide rich, varied and imaginative experiences. • Planning, observation and assessment are extremely robust and sharply focused on individual children, their progress and next steps in learning.

Information from assessments is used very effec...tively to engage parents in their child's learning at home. • Practitioners are highly skilled and sensitive to children's needs. They work very well together to fully support children to feel safe and secure in the pre-school.

Practitioners have very high expectations for what children can achieve and support them to make the best possible progress. Children talk about activities they enjoy, such as playing with their friends and playing with knights and castles, play dough and dinosaurs. • Children's behaviour is excellent.

Practitioners are very good role models and they respond quickly and sensitively to any concerns raised. They support children extremely well and help them learn about the needs of others, and the importance of sharing and being kind. • Partnership with parents is exceptional.

Strategies for engaging parents in the preschool and their children's learning are incredibly good. Parents spoken to describe the pre-school as fantastic and say how effectively information is shared about their child's progress and next steps. They comment on the very good, caring and stable practitioner team and the brilliant activities they provide for children.
