Summary of key findings for parents

This provision is good Managers and staff are passionate about the service they provide. They are ambitious and reflective and continually identify areas for improvements. Staff quickly establish close relationships with children.

They warmly welcome children when they arrive. Staff give children lots of individual attention and reassurance. Children settle easily and feel secure.

They develop a good sense of belonging. Staff regularly assess and observe children's daily achievements. They monitor the progress of each child and use their knowledge of children's interests to help provide further challenging activities.

Children make good progress in their learnin...g. Staff work effectively in partnership with other providers and outside professionals to ensure good continuity of care and experiences for children. They help to prepare children well for the next stage of their learning.

Children are highly motivated to explore and find things out. They sustain interest and concentrate well during activities. For example, during circle time children took their time to memorise items on a tray and successfully recalled missing items.

It is not yet outstanding because: During some activities, staff miss opportunities to help children make further connections in their learning and think critically to find answers for themselves. Key persons do not consistently make sure that they keep parents and other staff fully informed about all children's next steps for learning. They do not always have the information they need to fully challenge children's learning at the setting and at home.
