Children behave well. • Staff work effectively with parents. They provide regular updates on children's progress and offer useful suggestions for parents to help support their children's learning.

• The manager monitors the nursery and supports staff well. She meets with staff regularly and provides advice and support to improve ski...lls and practice. For instance, staff attended a course on supporting children's early mathematical skills which led to more effective practice in this area.

• The manager reviews all areas of the nursery's performance and has set clear goals to build future improvements. • Staff have not fully developed outdoor learning opportunities to aid children's wider learning and support those who learn best outdoors. • Children become restless and distracted at lunchtime when waiting for their meals.
