They gain good information from parents as children start at the nursery and use this information well to meet their care needs and to influence initial planning. • Children are motivated to learn.

Staff provide a good range of resources, plan interesting activities and follow children's interests well. Children make good progress from their developmental starting points. • Staff support children learning English as an additional language well.

Children form strong relationships with friendly staff and become familiar with routines, which help prepare them for school.
