This provision meets requirements Children are excited when they arrive at the club and are intrigued to know what activities are available to them. Staff provide a wide selection of inviting activities. These are thoughtfully planned based on children's interests, for example play dough, building blocks and drawing.

Children enjoy making their own choices and moving around the room with their friends. Children are confident to talk to others and play with children of different ages.Staff show genuine care and concern for the children.

They greet each child individually as they arrive and ask them about their day at school. Staff set clear expectations abo...ut children's behaviour. They remind children of the setting's rules.

Children demonstrate that they understand these rules by consistently behaving very well. Staff praise them for sitting patiently while waiting for their friends to arrive. Children are polite and show respect for other children and adults.

They raise their hands when they want to talk within the group. Children have access to a range of books, which they enjoy reading with staff members. They enjoy using different art and craft materials.

They demonstrate their independence by tidying away after themselves without being prompted by staff.

They ensure children have a place to put their belongings and expect them to pack away their bags and water bottles promptly when they arrive. Children follow instructions very well.Staff support children to problem solve when they encounter difficulties.

For example, they help children to negotiate and learn to share when too many children wish to participate in the same activity at the same time. They praise children who show maturity in their decision-making.Staff support children's physical development.
