They climb and slide down an inflatable apparatus called 'The Monster'. This supports children in developing their physical strength and perseverance. Children show their independence as they take shoes off to participate and put them back on when finished.

Children are extremely well behaved. They follow instructions and know the club's routine we...ll. Staff provide a range of activities to support teamwork and good sportsmanship.

Children display kind and friendly behaviour towards each other, giving hugs and high fives as they complete activities. Children play with balls, bats and jumping equipment. They take part in obstacle games and learn how to navigate space.

Mathematical language is incorporated during games. Children count and use simple addition and subtraction. They learn about taking turns and patience as they line up to take part.

What does the early years setting do well and what does it need to do better?

The club provides a wide range of activities. These include rock climbing and swimming. They employ early years coordinators.

The arrangements for safeguarding are effective.The club have extremely robust health and safety measures in place. They use detailed risk assessments which are reviewed consistently throughout the day.

They monitor the wind speed regularly when using inflatable apparatus. Staff regularly attend first-aid and safeguarding training. Leaders and staff have excellent understanding of reporting procedures relating to concerns about children or adults.

They have a good understanding of safeguarding linked to child criminal exploitation and radicalisation. The club have robust recruitment procedures. This includes a thorough induction process alongside procedures for checking the ongoing suitability of staff.
