Summary of key findings for parents

This provision is good Managers lead a well-organised provision with confidence and enthusiasm.

All staff work well together and are passionate about providing good-quality care for the children. Staff create a welcoming, relaxed and friendly atmosphere. They plan a wide variety of interesting activities that helps to engage and motivate children and helps children to develop new skills and build on what they already know and can do.

Staff are good role models for the children. For example, staff discuss the rules of the den with children at the beginning of the day to enable all children to be safe and aware of expected behaviours. Staff motivate and involve children in... enjoyable group activities and games.

This helps new children to quickly get to know one another and build friendships. Staff maintain good levels of communication with parents. They keep parents informed about what children do and enjoy during the day and any forthcoming events.

Children play in a safe environment and staff supervise them closely as they move between rooms and activities, such as games of short tennis in the sports hall. It is not yet outstanding because: Management does not routinely encourage parents and children to contribute their views and ideas to make further improvements to the provision. Staff do not always gain detailed information from children and parents to help them support children's interests further when they first start.
