What is it like to attend this early years setting?
This provision meets requirements Staff provide a warm welcome for children arriving from school. They work hard to ensure that the club is an inclusive environment for all children who attend. Children arrive at the club happily, eager to be with their friends.
They learn to follow simple routines to help them become self-reliant. For instance, they arrive, hang up their coat and bag, wash their hands and queue up for their snack. While they eat, staff sit and talk with them.
They listen to children with genuine interest and ask them about what they have been learning at school. Staff are sensitive and kind and help children settle, particularly those tha...t are new to the club. This helps to develop a sense of well-being and provides children with emotional security.
