This provision is outstandingnThe outside area is exceptional and worthy of being shared with others. It offers excellent learning in all areas and children particularly enjoy the mud kitchen and opportunities to construct on a large scale.

nPartnerships with parents are excellent. Parents highly commend the nursery and are actively involved in all aspects of their child's learning and development. For instance, parents attend interesting workshops and gain useful information to help to support their children's learning at home.

nTeaching is highly effective. Practitioners know exactly what outcomes they hope to achieve and implement extremely well-targeted strategies to ...help children in their learning. Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) are particularly well supported.

nChildren benefit greatly from, and really enjoy being involved in the local community. For example, they visit the local residential home and access the beach as key learning environments. They gain an excellent understanding of the wider world.

nStaff have an extremely sharp focus on helping all children acquire and extend their communication and language skills. They provide excellent commentary, emphasising key words and introducing new vocabulary as children play. Children make outstanding progress in their learning from their starting points.
