The provision is good • Staff provide a broad range of creative and interesting activities. They carry out regular detailed observations which they use to ensure that children are suitably challenged. Children make good progress.

• Staff manage children's behaviour effectively. For instance, they are calm and fair in their approach and share their expectations with children. Children behave well.

• The manager has good awareness of what the nursery needs to do to build on ongoing improvements. She has met previous recommendations from the last inspection, including organising group activities more effectively to ensure improved outcomes for children. • Staff have effecti...ve links with parents.

They give them regular updates on children's progress and provide good suggestions for parents to support children's learning. It is not yet outstanding because: • Sometimes, staff do not make the most of opportunities to develop the language and thinking skills of children aged between two to three years even further. • Staff do not consistently find ways to help children to understand the value of their current healthy routines, such as eating well and taking part in daily outdoor physical activities.
