This provision is outstanding • Children are exceedingly happy in the nursery.

They are confident and self-assured. They settle quickly when they first start and as they transition from room to room. Key staff are exceptionally nurturing, kind and reassuring and this helps children to feel extremely safe and secure.

• The manager and staff have exceptionally high expectations of themselves and of what children are able to achieve. They set extremely high targets and challenges for children to help them to move rapidly forward in their development. • The manager receives superb levels of support from regional teams and this helps her to pursue her ambitions as she aims fo...r excellence.

The nursery is held as a beacon for other nurseries to follow. Staff are extremely well supervised and supported to continually develop their practice. Staff feel highly valued and they are dedicated and exceedingly passionate about their work.

• Parents are active partners with the nursery and represent each other's views in meetings. Parents are encouraged to reflect on their own and their children's experiences and share and suggest ideas for improvements. Staff actively promote continuity between the nursery and children's home lives.

They provide resources and suggestions to help parents to continue their child's learning at home. • All children make significant progress in their learning, including those who speak English as an additional language. Highly effective monitoring of the progress of individuals and groups of children ensures that all children achieve to the best of their potential.
