They are keen to take part in play and games opportunities.The manager introduces children to their key staff and group. Children understand the routine for the day, which helps them feel assured.
Children behave well and cooperate with each other. They build good relationships with staff and their peers.Children are enthusiastic to engage in discussions.

The timetable of activities provides all children with a range of experiences. These include outdoor games and indoor playtime. Children listen and follow directions well while learning to play cricket.
Younger children practise and develop strong body control as they chase bubbles. Older children join in team games, such as archery and frisbee. Activities encourage children to be inventive and work together to meet an aim set for them by staff.
For example, they are creative, confident and independent. Children practise their finger muscles in different ways during their play. Their drawing and writing skills are good.
What does the early years setting do well and what does it need to do better?
Parents provide information about their child on their application form. Staff gather further information when the children start. This helps staff to identify what children like and things that are important to them.
Hence, staff meet children's individual needs well and keep them healthy and safe.Children have a good choice of activities. Younger children engage well in role play.
Staff ask many questions to help them think and express their ideas and views. Staff guide younger children as they try to make structures with building bricks. They concentrate well and are proud of their creations.
Older children work in small groups of similar interest, which enhances their enjoyment.Children in the younger age group are confident to invite staff to join in their pretend play. They are happy to share resources and explain with ease what staff must do.
For example, to race the cars 'fast', to go 'up' and 'down' the road. They discuss driving the cars under water but explain that they will need special cars. Staff extend the activity by asking questions and providing a range of cars.
Staff support children to count how many cars they have. Other children giggle with excitement. They build tall towers with staff before pushing them to the floor again.
Group games help children to understand the need for rules. Older children support each other in teams as they cheer each other on playing cricket. They learn different dance moves, which strengthen their body coordination.
Children react immediately when staff call out 'stop'. They are very attentive while learning 'add-on' dance routine. Children practise the skills they are gaining in school, while having great fun.
Staff promote children's good health and well-being. Children of all ages sit together at lunchtime and interact well. Parents provide packed lunches.
The camp provides information with regards to how much food to provide. They monitor lunch provided to ensure it is healthy and nutritious. Parents are informed of food to avoid, to support children who may have food allergies.
Parents state that children are happy to attend the camp. Their children enjoy making friends across the different age groups. Staff are friendly, caring and their children enjoy the range of activities.
Staff communicate well with them. They ensure parents complete all the necessary forms to support their child's health.The manager and staff team reflect and check the service they provide.
For example, staff review how well children enjoy different activities. These are then improved to ensure children have a positive experience. Staff work well together and seek feedback from the children.

Safeguarding
The arrangements for safeguarding are effective.Staff understand their responsibilities to prevent children being drawn into situations that may put them at risk.
They are aware of the signs of abuse and neglect and know the referral procedures to follow if they have a concern. The premises are safe and secure. Children are supervised well.
As a result, they cannot leave unsupervised. Staff are very vigilant and ensure unwanted visitors cannot gain access to children. At regular intervals throughout the day, staff count the number of children present.
A password system is part of checks to ensure that at the end of the day children are collected only by adults authorised to do so. Staff identify and successfully minimise potential risks indoors and outdoors. Recruitment and selection procedures meet requirements for safeguarding children.
