This provision is good • The provider has worked hard to address the weaknesses raised at the last inspection. They have gained support from their local authority early years team to help them develop their practice and to make the necessary improvements. • The provider has appointed a well-qualified and experienced manager, who has high ambitions for every child.

All staff have undertaken a range of training to help strengthen their teaching practice. This has had a positive impact on improving the provision and helping to raise outcomes for children. • Staff promote the development of children's communication skills well.

They implement effective strategies to close an...y gaps in children's language development and help them to build on their existing skills. All children make good progress from their relevant starting points. • Staff support children to follow rules and to value and respect one another's ideas and opinions.

They act as positive role models and provide children with lots of praise and encouragement. Children behave well and develop good friendships with each other. • Staff follow children's interests and actively join in their play.

They know the children well and differentiate their teaching to support their abilities. However, staff do not make the very best use of their observations and assessments to identify exactly what children need to learn next. • Partnerships with parents are good.

Staff value parents' contributions to their children's ongoing learning. Parents' meetings and daily feedback help to ensure that they are kept well informed of their children's progress. • Staff do not always organise whole-group activities effectively as possible to help maintain children's interest and engagement.
