This provision is good • Managers and staff have worked diligently since the last inspection and have made the required improvements. They have gained knowledge through further professional development and have formed effective partnerships with early years professionals from their local authority.

• Parents speak highly of the nursery. They are very complimentary of staff and the dedication they show to supporting children's ongoing development. Parents are happy to be involved in the self-evaluation process and to have their suggestions listened to and acted upon.

• Staff obtain information from parents about their child's development on entry. They use observations of... children as they play to plan for future learning, and complete accurate assessments of children's development. • Staff are mindful of the different ages and abilities of children.

They provide a wellorganised and stimulating environment with a wide range of activities accessible to all children. This helps children to make good progress from their starting points. • Children particularly enjoy outdoor play and they explore the environment with confidence.

They learn how to balance and negotiate inclines as they practise a range of different movements. This develops children's physical skills and helps them learn to keep themselves healthy and safe. • Children are extremely happy and feel emotionally secure.

Staff acknowledge children's efforts and achievements with genuine praise. This develops children's confidence and self-esteem. • Occasionally, staff miss opportunities during everyday routines to encourage children to do achievable things for themselves, to further extend their independence skills.
