Staff build close and successful links with parents and with teachers at the host school. They organise effective handover discussions that enable them to understand the needs of individual children. There is a good key-person system that supports younger children's well-being.

Children are fu...lly involved in the planning of activities. Staff encourage older children to consider the feelings and abilities of those who are younger. Children of different ages play and develop their skills together in harmony.

Staff are clear about the boundaries they set for children's safety and welfare. Children are happy to abide by the rules and staff help them to understand the reasons behind them. Children enjoy playtime outdoors every day.
