Staff provide a wide range of inspiring creative activities. Children explore colours as they paint autumn leaves and creatively stick them on paper. They happily play notes on xylophones and shake bells to explore sounds.

Staff provide good opportunities for children to practise their small muscle skills as they cut out figures from paper. They develop children's confidence in self-care, such as by teaching them how to keep their teeth and gums healthy. Staff promote healthy routines for children, such as encouraging regular handwashing.

They ensure that children are fully involved in the planning of activities by regularly consulting with them to provide activities that children thoroughly enjoy.

Children enjoy physical challenges in a well-equipped outdoor area. They practise climbing across frames, balance on rope bridges and play ball games.

Staff ensure that children have daily access to the outdoor area to promote their physical development well.Staff prioritise children's safety. There is secure entry to the club, and staff register children when they arrive and later when they are collected by their parents.

Staff check all parts of the club, indoors and outdoors, to reduce the risk of hazards.Leaders monitor and support staff very effectively. They meet with each member of staff regularly to review and support their work.
