There are spaces provided for children to rest and be calm, such as quiet rooms or reading areas with soft cus...hions to relax and recuperate. Children are emotionally secure, happy and settled.
A rich and exciting array of games are offered and the programme of play is inspirational. For instance, children enjoy practising their circus skills and they report the disco is often the highlight of their week. Children enjoy their time spent at this fun and exciting club.
To illustrate, children enjoy making bird feeders. This challenging task involves refining fine motor skills as they carefully thread hoops onto pipe cleaners. Children concentrate and persevere until they successfully achieve this tricky task.
The theme of nature is further extended as children enjoy creating animal pictures. They discuss symmetry and learn the meaning of this advanced term. Staff provide adequate challenge which helps to keep children focused and engaged.

Teamwork is excellent and this impacts positively on the quality of care provided.Leaders regularly observe staff practice. They provide feedback to staff on what they do well and where they may improve.

Staff ensure a safe environment is available for children to play and learn. For instance, staff frequently check the space and equipment is safe.
Risk assessment systems are well implemented to protect children from possible harm. Staff and children practise fire evacuation procedures, so they are familiar with the appropriate steps to take in the event of an emergency. This is a safe and secure setting.
