What is it like to attend this early years setting?
The provision is outstanding
Children benefit from a nurturing and welcoming learning environment, where they develop a very high level of curiosity and a true sense of belonging and self-worth. They play together harmoniously and respond with enjoyment to learning. Staff and managers have an excellent understanding of how to support children's learning and development through play.
They know children remarkably well. When they spot gaps in children's learning, they quickly provide excellent support to help narrow the gaps. Almost all children make outstanding progress in relation to their different starting points.
Children who speak Engli...sh as an additional language and those with special educational needs and/or disabilities make the best possible progress. Children are exceptionally well prepared for the next stages of their learning, including the move on to school. They experience a strong sense of achievement.
For example, younger children smile and clap their hands when they complete puzzles independently. Older children are very enthusiastic to create their self-portraits, using a wide range of resources that foster their imagination. They are able to reflect and adapt their work to give it an artistic effect.
Children are articulate and highly confident to share their thoughts with others about 'what makes them happy or sad'. They show sensitivity to others, for example, by raising funds to help other people. Children develop a very good understanding and respect for different people, communities and their cultures.
