Summary of key findings for parents

This provision is good • Since the last inspection, managers have trained staff in many different aspects of how to safeguard children. As a result, staff can confidently describe how they respond to the signs and symptoms of abuse. • Parents comment that they feel involved in their children's care.

Staff frequently share information with them about their child's development and encourage them to contribute to their child's learning at home. • Staff support children's emotional well-being effectively and are attentive to their care needs. They respond quickly when babies become tired and provide them with comfort and help to settle them to sleep.

This helps to promote ch...ildren's emotional security. • Staff provide children with many opportunities to practise their coordination and balance. Younger children show good agility and determination as they carefully step through tyres while carrying heavy buckets of water without spilling them.

Children's physical skills are developing well. • Teaching is good. During activities staff skilfully introduce additional resources to consolidate children's recognition of shapes.

This supports children mathematical development well. • Although managers are tracking the progress of groups, such as older children, this does not currently include groups of babies. This means that managers may miss some gaps in children's learning.
