This provision meets requirements Children eagerly arrive at the club and are warmly greeted. They quickly settle and begin to enjoy an array of activities. Children confidently tell visitors what they enjoy doing at the club.
For example, they say, 'I like painting pictures for my family'and, 'I like to play outside with frisbees'. Children are engaged as they squash and roll play dough. They use Christmas themed cutters to create shapes and hold them up with pride.
Children share pens and pencils with their friends as they colour in festive pictures. They chat with others at the table as they sing familiar Christmas songs.Children become excited when an ...end of term Christmas film is put on, which they have previously voted for and chosen as a group.
They talk animatedly about the film and the characters that feature in it. Children engage with each other in the cosy area. They sit on the comfortable cushions and access books that they share with each other.
Children play with technical toys, sharing and taking turns with their friends. They draw and write about what they would like for Christmas on stocking shapes, talking about what they have written. Children draw pictures of their family and proudly show visitors their creations.

Parents say that they cannot speak highly enough about the club. They compliment the fantastic staff team, and emphasise that the club is a valuable part of their children's lives. Parents are happy with the communication they receive and the vast array of activities on offer for their children to enjoy.
Children benefit from the selection of healthy meals on offer. They enjoy sandwiches, bread sticks and vegetables. Children help themselves to water, particularly after exercise.
They understand how to keep themselves healthy. For example, children know that they need to use the tissues provided to blow their noses and dispose of the tissue hygienically. Children wash and sanitise their hands before enjoying their food.
Children are given a democratic voice at the club. Staff respect the children's views and listen to their wishes. For example, children cast their votes to decide how to celebrate at their Christmas party.
Throughout the year, children vote on what activities to enjoy at the club and write wish lists for new resources. This helps them to make independent choices and have a voice that is heard and appreciated.Staff know the children well and provide activities that suit the wide range of interests of those who use the club.
For example, they provide listening and dancing games such as musical statues. Children show high levels of engagement and interaction as they dance and laugh with their friends.Children's well-being needs are consistently met.
