This provision is outstanding • The manager is an inspirational and motivational leader.

She is an excellent role model and provides exceptional support and coaching for staff. Rigorous performance management is in place, which focuses on staff's professional development. As a result, the quality of teaching is precise and effective.

• The management team and staff demonstrate a deep understanding of the curriculum and how to apply it to meet children's individual needs. Children's interests are followed, to plan highly effective activities that children are eager to participate in. • Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities receive excellent levels of... support.

Staff work closely with other professionals to identify and provide the support that children need. Children make significant progress from their starting points. • Partnerships with parents are outstanding.

Staff keep parents up to date with what children are learning and how this can be supported at home through regular meetings, assessments and using an online program. Parents are very complimentary about the setting describing staff as being 'supportive, approachable and friendly'. They comment that their children's learning and development has 'come on leaps and bounds'.

• Self-evaluation is firmly embedded into practice. The manager and staff team share a joint vision to provide excellence. The views of everyone involved in the setting are considered when driving forward improvements, leading to outstanding experiences for children.

• Promoting equality, diversity and British values are at the heart of the setting. Children have a voice and are listened to. They have daily votes to choose activities and stories, which are shared at the end of the session.

• Extremely well-planned transitions help children to settle quickly into the setting and form strong relationships with their key person and other staff. Family books are used as an excellent aid to help children to settle into the nursery initially. They provide endless opportunities for discussions as children learn about what makes them different from and similar to others.
