Staff regularly assess children's progress and use the information to plan for the next steps in their learning. nStaff organise an extremely clean, bright and welcoming learning environment. A wide range of high-quality resources, toys and equipment is available indoors and outside.

Children are confident and sociable, demonstrating that they feel emotionally secure. They happily approach visitors to ask questions and invite them into their play.nSettling-in procedures are good.

Staff get to know children and their families well. They ensure children who are new to the nursery are given plenty of cuddles, comfort and reassurance. This helps them to settle quickly into their new surroundings.

nPartnerships with parents are very good. Staff regularly share information with them about their children's time at nursery. Parents comment on the lovely relationships their children have with staff.

Parents feel confident that their children are safe and well cared for. nAlthough leaders support staff professional development well, they do not consistently monitor the effectiveness of all aspects of their daily practice.nStaff in the baby room do not always organise everyday routines, such as sleep time, well enough, so that babies and young children settle quickly and sleep peacefully.
