Summary of key findings for parents

The provision is good • Staff provide children with a wide range of experiences.

They regularly take children on outings to farms, parks, woodland areas and adventure playgrounds. • Staff form close, positive relationships with children. They patiently motivate children to choose and access activities, encourage their independence and support them to achieve their aims.

• Senior managers take appropriate action to ensure staff fully understand their roles and responsibilities to keep children safe. Staff are well deployed and supervise children well at all times, both indoors and on outings. They effectively risk assess and respond to children's individual needs to help ...keep them safe and secure.

• The organisation fully supports staff's professional development. Staff have good opportunities to complete a wide variety of training. They gain a sound knowledge of how to support children who have complex special educational needs and/or disabilities.

• Staff communicate well with teachers in schools and other agencies to promote continuity in children's care. It is not yet outstanding because: • Staff do not always organise outdoor areas of the premises effectively to provide children with varied and challenging activities. • Staff do not make sure that parents consistently provide children with nutritious snacks and meals to support their good health.
