This provision is outstanding • Staff provide extensive opportunities to allow children to investigate, explore and become confident, curious learners. As a result, children make rapid progress in their learning and development. • The manager is committed, reflective and motivates staff effectively.

As a team the staff and manager continually monitor the progress of children, confidently assess the impact of their professional development and accurately identify any additional training needs. • Staff develop exceptionally strong relationships with parents and children. Consequently, staff get to know children extremely well and target their support.

As a result, children... are independent and self-motivated. • Teaching ensures that outcomes for children are outstanding. Pre-school children in particular make better than expected progress and are exceptionally well prepared for their transition into school.

• Staff have high expectations for children's behaviour. They are responsive to children's needs and discuss the consequences of actions. As a result, children's behaviour is exemplary and they are exceptionally considerate to the needs of others when it comes to negotiating and taking turns.
