This provision is goodnStaff provide good opportunities for children to develop their mathematical skills. For example, they count out loud the number of footsteps children need to take when they play a game.

nStaff promote positive behaviour well. They encourage children to share and take turns, for example, when they play games. Children behave well.

nThe manager evaluates the provision well. She gathers feedback from parents and values the comments they make. Recent changes to the garden provide further opportunities for children to develop their learning outdoors.

For example, children play in sand and soil and use swings. This supports their physical develop...ment.nThe manager monitors how well different groups of children are achieving.

This helps her to identify any concerns in children's development. She implements effective planning and activities to help close any gaps in learning, for example to provide further opportunities for children to develop their literacy skills, particularly for boys. nChildren make good progress in their learning and reach typical levels of development for their age.
