This provision meets requirements Children arrive at the club excited and happy to greet their friends.

Staff gently welcome the children. They acknowledge that children have had a busy day at school before they attend. Staff take care in getting to know the children and ask them about their day.

Children follow the example set by staff. They are respectful and kind towards each other. Children understand and follow the behaviour expectations set by staff.

For example, they line up quietly so as not to disturb teachers working nearby.Children have positive attitudes to their learning and demonstrate perseverance as they persist with challenges, su...ch as separating small bricks to build structures. Children choose their own activities.

They become engrossed experimenting with containers as they make pretend soup in the play kitchen. Children play cooperatively with friends of all ages. They line up bikes as part of a role play car wash.

Older children help the younger ones to manoeuvre their bikes into place.
