This provision is goodnThe setting's management monitor practitioners' knowledge and skills and develop effective training plans to improve staff's interactions with children.

nChildren learn new vocabulary as practitioners introduce new words in context and use actions and repetition to teach language.nChildren know what is expected of them as staff use positive reinforcement and praise. For example, they ask the children to walk inside instead of saying 'no running'.

nChildren make good progress in their learning. Practitioners and the manager work with professionals from outside the nursery to plan interventions that help children with developmental delays catch up wit...h their peers.nTransitions between rooms are planned to ensure that children and their parents feel safe and comfortable with the room change.

Staff form bonds with children by working with them for a few weeks before the transition. These staff then accompany the children to their new room so that they have a trusted adult with them in their new environment.nPractitioners do not talk about the benefits of eating different foods and how they contribute to a healthy lifestyle.
