Children are quick to choose an activity to do when they arrive at the after-school club. They develop new friendships and invite others into their play.Children enjoy imaginative play and share ideas about the animals in the zoo and the dinosaurs they introduce in their play.

Children play together well. They enjoy a dark tent where they can sit quietly with a book or do an activity. This gives children some time to rest and reset after a busy day at school.

Staff check in with the children to ensure they have w...hat they need. Staff offer reassurance and encouragement to engage in an activity.Children are happy to talk about their likes and interests.

Staff listen to what they have to say and ask questions to develop the conversation. Children are polite and respectful when listening to each other and joining in with the discussion.Children show pride in their achievements when they are playing a card game.

They enjoy some small-group time or one-to-one time with staff as they engage in games, such as traditional board games.
