This provision meets requirements Children receive a warm and friendly welcome from staff, who collect them from their classrooms at the end of the school day. Staff have systems in place to ensure children walk safely to the club, which is situated within the school grounds. For example, they take a register and ensure all children are present, before organising a walking bus to take the children to the club.
During this time, children's behaviour is impeccable, they listen to what staff have to say and follow instructions well.Staff create a calm and comfortable environment, where children relax and enjoy their time at the club. Children are happy and settled. .../> They know the staff well and engage enthusiastically in conversations. Children play cooperatively and are extremely kind to their friends. For example, they help each other find toys and complete tasks together.
Staff have high expectations for children's behaviour. They are excellent role models and gently remind children to say please and thank you. As a result, children learn to be respectful and have good manners.
Staff ensure children feel valued and included. For example, they create a set of rules with the children, incorporating points that are important to them. This includes rules such as 'listen to everybody', 'tell the truth' and 'have fun'.
This helps children to feel safe and develop a sense of belonging.

They like the range of activities on offer and feel their children are safe and well cared for while at the club. Prior to children starting, parents complete online registration forms. This includes information such as children's allergies and medical requirements so staff can ensure all children's needs are met.
Children have opportunities to help and earn rewards. For example, they serve their friends food and drinks at snack time. Rewards include wrist bands and stickers, which children relish receiving.
