This provision meets requirements Children arrive happily and look forward to attending the club.
They receive a warm welcome and build extremely positive relationships with the staff and each other, which helps them to feel secure. Children settle quickly and are familiar with the daily routines. For example, they know where to put their personal belongings when they arrive and are eager to start the morning warm-up activities.
Staff focus on supporting children to develop their confidence, speaking and physical skills through dance, singing and drama. They plan experiences and activities that capture children's interests and build on the skills and knowl...edge they are gaining at school. There is a buzz of excitement and laughter while staff interact and join in with children's play as they prepare for their show.
For example, children use their imagination as they pretend to go on a bear hunt. They giggle excitedly as they run and jump to the avoid the bear and escape the cave. This supports children's developing muscle strength and coordination skills.
Children who enjoy art and craft activities also have numerous opportunities to build on their interest. Staff provide a range of materials for children to choose from and support their creative development extremely well. Children use a range of tools and different materials while making props to use as part of their upcoming performance.
They enthusiastically talk to staff about what they have made and are visibly proud of their achievements. Children behave extremely well. They listen to instructions and follow the club rules.
Children take turns, share and show that they understand the differing needs of their friends. All children are confident and self-assured. They say they love being at the club.

Leaders and staff have carefully considered the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on children's well-being. They place a strong focus on talking to children about how they are feeling and support them well to regulate their emotions. This has had a positive impact on the children, who show high levels of confidence and self-esteem.
Staff support children to learn about the importance of healthy lifestyles. Children manage their personal hygiene well and understand the importance of regular handwashing. They are reminded to drink water to keep hydrated.
