What is it like to attend this early years setting?
The provision is outstanding
Children's individual needs, interests and prior knowledge are well known by leaders. Staff design a curriculum that builds on the development of each child.
They implement the curriculum incredibly well and have exceptionally high expectations of what children can achieve. Teaching is inspiring and of a remarkably high standard. As children play and explore, staff use their expert knowledge and questioning skills to enhance children's learning.
This helps to ensure that children develop the knowledge and skills that they need to succeed in their future learning. All children, including those with special educat...ion needs and/or disabilities, achieve to the highest levels. Children thrive in the warm, welcoming and stimulating environment that staff create for them.
They are highly engaged and motivated learners. Children become deeply immersed in their play and sustain high levels of concentration. For example, babies and very young children thoroughly enjoy singing songs while playing outdoors.
They develop their coordination and physical skills as they move faster and slower to the rhythm of the song. Older children further develop their imaginations and listen intently to stories that staff make up for them. Staff tell these stories using intonation in their voice to create a high degree of anticipation.
Children are absorbed and focused in their play.
