This provision meets requirements Children are very happy, active and engaged during their time in the club.
They look forward to coming and quickly settle into the well-considered routines. They learn to make decisions about the toys, stimulating games and creative activities they choose to play with. Staff encourage children to share and support each other.
For instance, they learn to thread cotton through straws or to use paper fasteners to create their well-decorated Halloween flapping bats and witches. Staff ensure children have space and time to complete tasks and to enjoy each other's company.Children are very well behaved and treat the staff and ea...ch other with courtesy.
They appreciate the warm welcome they receive when their teacher hands them over to the safe care and high expectations of the club's staff. Staff are very positive role models. For instance, they join the children in their activities with calm, assured enthusiasm.
They involve children in planning future activities over time and creating rules and routines. Staff help children to make healthy choices about the nutritious snacks on offer and provide many opportunities for physical activity outdoors and in. Parents are very happy with all the club offers and appreciate the wide range of experiences their children encounter.
They welcome the staff's consistently open and friendly approach.

Staff make a strong contribution to children's health and well-being. They help children understand the importance of good hygiene, such as washing their hands regularly.
They involve the children in preparing a wide range of healthy and nutritious snacks and encourage them to try new foods. Children have many opportunities to be physically active, indoors and out. They are encouraged to try their best in new and familiar tasks.
Leaders are ambitious and aim to provide high levels of care and support to the children and staff. They regularly review the provision's effectiveness and draw on the views of staff, parents and children to plan for the club's future development. Leaders ensure there are robust policies to support staff in all aspects of their work and ensure children are safe and happy.
Staff create a warm and nurturing environment. The stimulating routines mean children know what is expected of them throughout the sessions. There is a good balance of opportunities for physical activity, quiet, individual engaging tasks and group play.
Young children play happily with older ones and feel valued and supported.Staff know the children very well. They liaise with the children's teachers and parents in order to support them effectively.
They encourage children to behave well and have high expectations for good manners and courtesy. For instance, children are proud to have their names put in the 'best behaved' box with a chance of a weekly prize. Children have very positive views about everyone's behaviour during their time in the club.
