This provision meets requirements • The manager understands how to follow safe recruitment procedures. She provides regular supervision meetings to help ensure staff are suitable for their roles. Staff attend core training, such as safeguarding, to keep their knowledge up to date.

• Staff understand how to guide and promote positive behaviour and effectively support children's physical and emotional well-being. • The manager describes appropriate experiences for younger children. She understands the value of gaining information from parents about children's interests and individual needs.

Staff understand how to compliment what is being learnt at school through enjoyable... activities. • The manager understands the importance of promoting children's awareness of healthy lifestyles. Staff know to provide healthy snacks and encourage children to be physically active.

• The manager demonstrates a strong commitment to the continual development of the club. She regularly seeks the views of parents, staff and children to help her evaluate and make improvements to the quality of provision. There were no children present when this inspection took place.
