This provision meets requirements Children arrive at the club happy. Staff share warm interactions with them when they arrive. This makes children feel welcome and valued, and they have a sense of belonging.

Staff have created strong routines, which help children know what is happening next. They reinforce appropriate rules and boundaries for children to follow, and positively praise children for being kind and listening. Staff have high expectations for behaviour.

Children are polite and respectful of each other. For example, they cheer each other on as they play football outdoors. Children love being outside and have freedom and space to move around with... pleasure.

Staff set out clear expectations and rules for the activities that are on offer. This helps children to understand the purpose of what they are doing and how they can participate. Children demonstrate their natural curiosity to join in.

The staff are enthusiastic and support children's thinking and explorations. For instance, children investigate mouldable sand. They use the palms of their hands to flatten the sand and make shapes.

The staff challenge them to make pyramids. This encourages conversations around safari animals and Egypt. The back-and-forth discussions between staff and children are natural and free flowing.

Children feel their thoughts matter and develop confidence to add their views and opinions to conversations.

What does the early years setting do well and what does it need to do better?

Managers and staff are dedicated and driven by the club's values and principles to provide high-quality care for children. They have a clear vision and strive to continually improve.

Managers place emphasis on ensuring staff and children receive the support they need to feel happy and content while at the club. This creates an environment of mutual respect and teamwork. Staff have regular opportunities to discuss areas of professional growth to develop their skills even further.

They state that they are well supported, which helps them feel confident in their roles.Children follow robust hygiene routines before they get ready for their snack. Staff role model good hygiene practice by cleaning surfaces and washing their hands before preparing an array of healthy snacks.

Children enjoy a range of foods, such as fruits, vegetables, cheese, and bagels. They use tongs to select the items they want. Staff talk to them about their choices, encourage them to use their manners, and share discussions about healthy foods.

Children sit at the table and talk to each other while they eat their snack. This is a social time that children enjoy.Overall, children demonstrate positive behaviours.

Staff encourage the children to select activities and resources around their interests. They involve children and seek their views when planning activities. Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities benefit from friendly interactions from staff who know them well.

This helps them to build strong bonds with staff and others around them. They feel safe and enjoy their time at the club.Staff are effective at risk assessing the environment to ensure it is safe for children to play and explore.

They effectively deploy themselves to make sure the children are well supervised. Staff monitor and regularly review their risk assessments and understand their responsibility to report any hazards to the management team.The managers and staff value the opinions of parents to ensure they are happy with the care and service that they provide.

Staff give regular feedback of the activities that they offer, and the care children have received while being at the club. Parents express their appreciation for the back-and-forth communication and the support their children receive. They comment that their children love being at the club and the staff offer them a safe and fun environment.

During the inspection, it was found that Ofsted had not been notified about a significant incident. This is a breach of the early years statutory framework requirements. However, through discussion, managers now understand what they need to notify to Ofsted.

Consequently, no further action is needed.
