This provision meets requirements Children arrive excited for their time at this welcoming club. They are greeted by warm, friendly staff who know their needs well. Children chatter happily to their friends and staff with whom they have built good relationships with.

They show that they know the routine well, and what is expected of them. Children support and play with other children of different age groups. Children listen and follow the instructions from staff well.

Staff are good role models and children behave well. The school and club work closely together to provide consistency for children. If conflicts arise, staff successfully support children to ...find solutions.

Children are encouraged to be independent. For example, during snack time, children self-serve and clear away their plates and cups when they have finished. Staff communicate well with children and support them in their play.

Children are encouraged to make choices. For example, staff plan a range of activities and provide a variety of resources for children to use when outdoors. Children work well together and use their imaginations to create games.

Staff provide opportunities for children to sit quietly should they wish. For example, children use chalks to draw large pictures on the playground floor.

The management team have clear expectations of what they would like children to achieve during their time at the club.

Staff evaluate the provision regularly to ensure that it is inclusive and meets the needs of the children attending. Staff are happy and report they are supported well, they have regular opportunities to discuss their roles and training needs.Consistent communication with children means staff plan successfully to meet their needs and plan around their interests.

Staff talk to children about their day at school and ask questions about what they have been doing. Group times give children the opportunity to share news with their friends.Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are supported well.
