A much-lower-than-average proportion of pupils are eligible for the pupil premium, which provides additional funding for looked after children and pupils known to be eligible for free school meals. The proportion of disabled pupils or those who have special educational needs supported at school action is well below average.

The proportion of pupils supported at school action plus or with a statement of special educational needs is average. A breakfast and after-school club is managed privately. The school has a special educational needs resource base provision for 16 pupils with speech and language difficulties.
