5% and 2% respectively. Nearly a quarter ...of pupils come from an ethnic minority background and just over 20% speak English as an additional language. Only a very few pupils are fluent in Welsh.

The headteacher has been in post since 2001. The senior leadership team consists of a deputy headteacher, five assistant headteachers and a business manager. The school is currently a pioneer school and is working with the Welsh Government and other schools to take forward developments relating to the curriculum.
